Why don't produce big size PEEK rod( diameter bigger than 200mm)
In fact, we also produce peek rods with a diameter greater than 200mm, but they are not a common size, so the inventory may be limited.
And we can design extrusion molds to meet users' requirements for large-sized PEEK rods.
Difficulties in producing large-sized PEEK rod:
After adding fibers, the melt fluidity of PEEK material is significantly reduced, which makes it difficult for the material to uniformly fill various parts of large-sized molds during injection molding or extrusion, leading to insufficient filling or defects.
In large-sized products, the distribution and orientation of fibers are difficult to control uniformly, which may lead to insufficient local strength or inconsistent performance.
