Carbon Fiber Reinforced ESD-PEEK Pellets

Stage I

When the carbon fiber content is less than 5%, the filler inside PEEK exists in isolation, without forming a pathway, with little change in resistivity and still high resistivity.

Stage II

When the carbon fiber content reaches 15%, the filler begins to contact and form a local network, and the electrical resistivity rapidly decreases with increasing carbon fiber content. 

The critical content corresponding to the end of this stage is the percolation threshold.

Stage III

(complete network stage): The filler fully contacts to form a complete network, and the resistivity tends to stabilize. 

At this point, continuing to fill the carbon fiber will still reduce the resistance value of PEEK, but the decrease in resistance is not significant.
